Liberty Bay

Located on Vandura, the largest of the Shattered Isles, Liberty Bay is the jewel of the South Seas. Not too long ago, the people in the lovely seaport lived together in harmony, making a living from the rich resources the land provided. Unfortunately, some Thaians found out about the natural treasures of the Shattered Isles. Soon, the formerly peaceful little settlement had grown to a real town. Oppressed by the Thaians who took over the peaceful little settlement like a huge grasshopper swarm a potato field, many of the natives are poor people today. They live in ramshackle huts in the South and rest their weary heads on straw mats after a hard day's work on the plantations.

On the contrary, the Thaians, under the leadership of governor Percy Silverhand, reside in splendid and luxurious mansions in the northern part of the town.

On Vandura, the main island of this archipelago, you will find two hunting areas. One is for beginners and the second one for a bit more experienced players. However, most of the islands around Liberty Bay are designed for mid and high level players. To get access to other islands you will have to do a long chain of quests, which involve collecting items and a lot of traveling.

On Vandura itself, you can find a lot of rotworm tunnels. While exploring those you might encounter rotworms, carrion worms, tarantulas and other monsters. It's a large place, perfect for low levels. But beware, tarantulas are quite strong. You should have something better than the starting set of equipment. A good idea is to gain experience in other cities and come back at level 15-18.

The second area is located in the mountain rage on the eastern part of the island. You will find the entrance in a small hut, north east from Liberty Bay. This area is a voodoo cult lookout. This isn't the main base of this strange cult and you will not find its most powerful members here. If you want to get access to places hidden behind the magic piano, you will need to know four verses of hymn. Each part is dropped by a diffrent type of cultists. You will have to visit their main base on the Goroma island to get them, or simply buy parts of the secret hymn from other players.
