Svargrond
Situated on Hrodmir, the largest isle of the Ice Islands, Svargrond is for sure the coldest city in whole Tibia. There are people of 2 different backgrounds living in this chilly settlement. There are the barbarians, natives who have been in this area for a very long time, and there are settlers that originate from Carlin. Their ancestors once came here to dig for valuable ores in the close-by mines and founded a small settlement.

Today, it is inhabited by natives and Carliners alike and has developed into a prospering city. It is characterised by a unique, rustic style with long blockhouses. The wealthier inhabitants of Svargrond live in large houses decorated with various ornaments. Many people, however, earn their living as fishermen or furriers. They live in cosy huts in separated quarters to the south.

When you come to this city for the first time, citizens will not accept your presence. You will have to gain their trust first. To do so, you have to become a honorary barbarian. Find jarl Sven in local tavern and talk to him. To get the title, you have to pass 3 tests. First one: drink mead ten times in a row and don't fall down. Because it is jarl's private mead, you have to give him a honeycomb. With this, he will allow you to drink 20 times. If you finish it successfully, you will also get a mead horn, which will come in handy helpful in next test.
Test two: hug the bear. Use your mead horn on the jarl's mead bucket to take some of it with you. Go north from the city to find a cave where a bear lives. Use the mead horn on that bear, so he will fall asleep. Now you can hug it without any problems.

Test three: fight with a mammoth. Take a lot of alcohol with you, you need to be really drunk to start sumo with mammoth. You will find it north-west from the city.
When you finish all the 3 tests, you will be allowes to trade with NPCs, become a citizen or fight on the local arena.
